The Weight of Water was an appeasing book to me as soon as I flipped through the pages at the library because of its writing style, and it proved to be a delight! Kasienka’s story is heart breaking, inspiring and beautiful in every way! All the struggles she faces in this book are written so realistically, like being pulled down into a younger class and finding refuge in a hobby like swimming. The poetry has a nice flow and the plotline is different from other stories I have read in verse. Recommend this book to anyone who wants to smile and cry at the same time! Rating 4/5
