Amazing story! The romance between Quigley and Violet so cute! The story plot awesome...... THIS WHOLE FRICKIN STORY IS PERFECT for when your bored, need to read, or an essay you need to write about a story. This story will never get you bored!

This book is definitely the best in the series. It is definitely different than the other books. I liked the introduction of the new character, I would never have guessed that. I love how Sunny is great at cooking! The new information introduced in this book is awesome! Best book of the series for sure!

Why do you continue to pursue the story of the Baudelaires? Haven’t you had enough of their miserable tale? No? Well, then go ahead and pick up this book. I suppose you know that nothing but misery awaits.

After Sunny’s dreadful kidnapping, the two elder orphans are sent spiraling down a mountain. They will soon discover snow gnats, Snow Scouts, and possibly a friend amongst them. Sunny will be forced to cook for a nasty group of villains, but she might hear something that could be useful. And there are, in these pages, two people that make even Olaf’s toes curl in fear.

Some answers are found here, but questions also abound. Please, don’t pick up the next book of this grim tale. Imagine a happier ending! But I know you won’t. So read this one, knowing it will only compel you to continue.

Okay, this has to be my favorite book! Sunny is developing her culinary skills, even while she's kidnapped, Violet and Quigly are too cute (!!!) and Klaus is still very sweet. Love that Lemony puts a little of everything into his writings. I hope Quigly is okay!

This may be my favorite book out of the series.

this book is by far my favourite. Now that you finally know how Olaf kept on finding the orphans, the story really kicks in, and the Baudelaires are wrapped up more than ever in this V.F.D. plot. Loved the person the orphans met, and the way Sunny Baudelaire is growing up. Read the rest of the series as well.

There were multiple aspects of this volume that made it my favorite so far: all of the variations of VFD (Verbal Frigid Dialogue being a favorite); Sunny is growing up and finding her own way to help her siblings; the third Quagmire triplet; the Snowscouts and their ABC pledge and the moral dilemma we see the children working through. Should they "fight fire with fire" or follow "the world is quiet here" as their pledge.

So this was the like the eleventh book in the series. Tbh, I was starting to lose hope in the series but I was continuing on because it seems to get interesting towards the end and I really want to know what happens! However, I really loved this book! I was hooked in this one right till the end! It showed more of a background into VFD which was really good and I absolutely love the character of Quigley Quagmire! Quigley and Violet are too cute!
